SEG December 2015 Enews Update
‘Tis the season to attend SEG’s Christmas Party next Saturday December 5 and then get ready for AME BC’s Exploration Roundup 2016 where you can pick up your SEG directory at booths 1624/1626 on the corner next to the Bistro. Our own Rock Talk 2016 will take place in Smithers February 17, 18 and 19.
SEG Christmas Party
Saturday December 5
We're only a few days away from the SEG Christmas Party on Saturday December 5 at the Smithers Golf and Country Club. Sunday was the last day for letting us know if you plan to attend. Click here for the flyer with all the details.
Cocktails are at 6 pm and supper will be at 7 pm. Dinner is BBQ ribs and roast chicken with all the fixings.

We’ll have complimentary wine, dancing to a local DJ and shuttle service. SEG is encouraging non-perishable food donations or cash in lieu.

SEG booth volunteers needed
SEG will be at AME BC Roundup 2016 as usual in the Vancouver Convention Centre East, under the sails of Canada Place January 25 – 28. We’ll be at booths1624/1626, on the corner next to the Bistro on Monday January 25 and Tuesday January 26.

Rock Talk 2016

SEG’s Rock Talk 2016 will present an interesting and important lineup in February in Smithers. The annual conference combines education sessions, technical presentations and a day of skiing to cap it off.
Wednesday February 17: morning session 9-12 Eskay Creek core, maps and deposit focus, afternoon 1-4 Stikine Terrane reconstruction session
Wednesday February 17: evening SEG Annual General Meeting and registration
Thursday Feb 18: 9-12 Red Chris rock and paper focus, afternoon 1-4 project updates
Friday Feb 19: core shack and ski day
