SEG looks forward to Mining Month 2026 - watch for details in the spring. We won't be holding our annual Mining Month luncheon so that we don't conflict with Minerals North 2026 which will be in Smithers.
SEG wound up its Mining Month 2025 events with two Stump the Geologist sessions at the Smithers Farmers Market. We also led the annual Mining Month luncheon and public/student session, with a committee from the Town of Smithers, several exploration companies and supply companies and the Smithers District Chamber of Commerce. Thanks for all the enthusiasm and for the financial support from the Mining Association of BC which leads Mining Month across the province.
