Roundup 2015 January 26 - 29 Booths 1624 1626

‘Tis the season of conferences and Smithers Exploration Group will start off with its booth at Mineral Exploration Roundup 2015 in Vancouver.  As most people know, AME BC’s Roundup will be at its new venue in the Vancouver Convention Centre East, under the sails of Canada Place January 26 – 29, 2015.  SEG has booths 1624 and 1626 on Monday and Tuesday.  The booths are located at the back left side. Come in the trade show doors and walk to the back of the room. We’re just past the Prospectors Tent, near the washrooms and food.. Look for the buggy whip with the high viz flag, high above the booths.

Please drop by to say hi and get your 2015 SEG directory.

Norma Jean Adzich Is co-ordinating the SEG booth. She can still use some volunteers, so if you’re going to be at Roundup, drop her a line and volunteer to help staff the booth -  normajean.adzich@gmail.com;  250-847-4657, 778-210-0669

We also want to thank Bandstra for its ongoing support in getting the SEG booth materials down to Roundup. Their kind of local support make undertakings like Roundup possible.

Personal Note from the Editor

I am one of the candidates for the AME BC board election outlined above. There’s a strong slate for the six positions, so vote for the best folks but make sure you vote.

On another personal note, my husband Peter has been awarded AME BC’s H. H. “Spud” Huestis Award for excellence in prospecting and mineral exploration for his work extending the mine life at Huckleberry Mine. I’m so proud of him that I had to exploit my position as newsletter editor and spread the word. http://www.amebc.ca/media/news-releases/ame-bc-2014-awards
