Minerals North Conference

May 6 - 8 2026

Minerals North Conference

Minerals North 2026 in Smithers will feature a terrific program May 6 to 8 and will welcome everyone by showcasing the community’s importance to the minerals industry.

To receive updates on the Minerals North 2026 Conference and Trade Show in the local arenas, please sign up to receive their newsletter. Sign up on Minerals North website https://mineralsnorth.ca/, or follow Minerals North on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/p/Minerals-North-100071188242900/

Minerals North is also the perfect event for helping area students get hands-on experience in the importance of minerals in our every-day lives, plus the potential for exciting careers. SEG will fill the nearby curling rink with Minerals Rock. It promises fun and engaging games and displays geared to the elementary and secondary schools in School District 54. We will be looking for volunteer geologists to help staff the displays to ensure we can answer all kinds of questions about shiny rocks and exciting careers. If you can handle an hour or two during Minerals North 2026 contact Georgia at outreachsmithersexplorationgr@gmail.com
