Minerals North Conference

May 6 - 8 2026

Minerals North Conference

Smithers will host Minerals North 2026 next May 6 to 8. This is great news and a natural location to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the event.  This will be the sixth time it's been in Smithers with previous years in 1990, 1995, 2004, 2008 and 2016. SEG will play an important role in the conference, hosting an educational display targetting school-age kids from the district. SEG's representatives on the Town of Smithers Minerals North planning committee are Megan Bacon and Jessy Chaplin.

Thanks to Prince George for hosting this year's Minerals North - it was a lot of fun.
