SEG January 2017 Enews Update
It’s time to plan ahead for winter 2017, so let’s start with Roundup 2017. Smithers Exploration Group will be at AME’s Exploration Roundup January 23-26. We want to make sure everyone gets their edition of the new directory to services for the minerals industry in northern BC. We’ll also be organizing the Prospectors’ Table for some of northwest BC grassroots properties on Wednesday January 25. There will not be a SEG booth this year but we’ll still be taking the message of northwest BC’s exploration potential to the industry. Then it’s on to Rock Talk February 15 to 17 in Smithers, highlighting two major deposit profiles. JoAnne Nelson seen above is one of our regular participants. And of course we hope to see lots of people at SEG’s annual general meeting on the evening of February 15 when you register for Rock Talk. With all the activity in the next two months, we’re postponing the first 2017 Rocks ‘n Rambling until March.
AME Roundup 2017
Vancouver Convention Centre East
January 23 – 26, 2017
SEG will be at AME Exploration Roundup 2017 in the Vancouver Convention Centre East, under the sails of Canada Place January 23-26. Watch for our annual directory at the publication table operated by AME in the registration area and at the Prospectors' tent in the trade show on Wednesday the 25th. We are taking a slightly different approach with Roundup in 2017 with our presence distributed around the floor of the trade show and in the various forums, instead of focused on a booth. Make sure you drop by the publication table any time during the conference or the Prospectors' tent on Wednesday to get your 2017 SEG directory or BC Night and catch up on what's hot in northwest BC.
BTW at the end of this newsletter, I have included some information on the election process for the AME board of directors election. Voting for six new board members begins January 16 for AME members. AME’s annual general meeting will be Wednesday January 25 from 1:30 to 3:30.
See you at AME Roundup 2017.
