SEG November 2019 Enews Update

This just in…. Save the Date for Rock Talk 2020 on February 19 and 20 in Smithers. It'll be as great as last year's - enjoyed by geos like these ones.

The deadline for an ad or listing in the 2020 SEG directory is in two weeks. Check the rate sheet for placing an advertisement. Get your message to hundreds of people in the industry.
Speaking of the 2020 directory – we would love to include your high res photo from the 2019 field season. Check below for contact information.
In case you missed the previous note – Rock Talk 2020 will be February 19 and 20 in Smithers. It’s all about the rocks – SEG’s collection of Cordilleran rock suites.
With Hallowe’en behind us, it’s time to plan for Christmas – include SEG’s Christmas party on Friday December 6 in your holiday calendar.
The new year will start with AME Roundup on January 20-23 in Vancouver and SEG will be there with a table in the concourse. Drop by to say hello and pick up a 2020 directory and a brochure for Rock Talk 2020.

SEG 2020 directory, November 15 advertisement deadline

Smithers Exploration Group’s annual directory is a hot item at AME’s Roundup in January, so you don’t want to be disappointed by missing out on getting your ad ready. We distributed 500 copies at Roundup 2019 and that’s a great way of getting your services noticed. An ad in the directory is a great bang for your advertising buck so check out the rate sheet for 2020 and connect with Elaine Konschuh at merok@telus.net before November 15.

However you can also be listed in the directory free of charge. If your listing contact information has changed – phone or email – or if you are not yet listed, please send the new information to Elaine Konschuh at merok@telus.net

IMPORTANT - We are also looking for high resolution photographs of your 2019 summer field work. Again, contact Elaine Konschuh at merok@telus.net for anything connected to SEG’s 2020 directory.

Rock Talk 2020, February 19 and 20, Smithers

Rock Talk 2020 will star SEG’s collection of Cordilleran rock suites, plus exploration projects in northern BC. Join us in Smithers February 19 and 20 at the Smithers Curling Rink – as usual. Christmas Party, Friday December 6, 5 pm at the Rock Room

Please join us for this year’s SEG Christmas party. It will be in the Rock Room but we promise put away the rocks and drag out the Christmas tree, lights and seasonal joy.

Roundup 2020, Vancouver Convention Centre East, January 20-23

Smithers Exploration Group will have a strong presence at AME Roundup in 2020. We’ll be at all the major events, plus the tables being provided to the regional groups during the week and at BC Night. Check out the publication table in the registration area for your new copy of the SEG directory.
