SEG thanks golf sponsors
The weather was great and as you can see in the above photo, golfers had a lot of fun at the Smithers Exploration Group 2017 golf tournament. Every year SEG acknowledges a few people with trophies presented at the golf tournament. This year the winner of Gerry Auger Trophy for having the most fun at the game was Rick Bain. The Joyce Warren memorial trophy for years of volunteer work for SEG went to the late Joyce Warren's husband Lorne - the man behind the woman. Thanks to the golf committee and sponsors listed below for their help and see you next year.

New venue for AME’s Roundup 2018 January 22-25
The Association for Mineral Exploration will host Roundup 2018 in the state-of-the-art West building of the Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC). This opportunity comes as a result of extensive renovations being performed by the VCC at the time of the conference.
AME and everyone involved with Roundup 2018 is excited and optimistic about the move.
The space allows AME to have everything closer together, such as the Exhibit Hall, Gathering Place, and Poster Session, as well as build out programming.
Anticipated costs should be comparable to what they would have been in the East building and with Roundup 2017.
AME Roundup fees, ticket prices and booth prices will not be affected by this move beyond standard cost adjustments already made for the contract increases stipulated by the VCC.
AME looks forward to the opportunity to work with the Vancouver Resource Investment Conference on the respective conferences due to their closer proximity in 2018
Please direct any questions or concerns to Simone Hill at shill@amebc.ca.
