Join Smithers Exploration Group in Smithers February 17, 18 and 19 for Rock Talk 2026 - our annual celebration of rocks and the people who find them and dig them. Great talks, great food and great friendships. Plan on attending to get updates on the exploration projects in Northwest and North Central BC.  Don't delay - Early Bird registration is open via Eventbrite for only $160 plus gst.

We’ll start with a get-together Tuesday February 17 in the evening and then launch into presentations on Wednesday February 18 and Thursday February 19.  As usual we invite folks to wrap things up with a Friday ski day on Hudson Bay Mountain.  Here is an early look at the schedule with details to come later:

Tuesday, February 17 – 4:00–7:00 pm Informal meet & greet with snacks and refreshments SEG Rock Room, 101–3423 Fulton Ave

Wednesday, February 18 – 8:45 am–4:30 pm Presentations with lunch and breaks Smithers Curling Club, 4216 4 Ave

Thursday, February 19 – 9:00 am–2:30 pm Presentations with lunch and breaks, followed by curling and a reception with food and beverages Smithers Curling Club, 4216 4 Ave

Friday, February 20 Skiing or snowboarding at the amazing Hudson Bay Mountain – not covered in registration
